Preston Bass joined Invoke in 2023 leading the accounting, tax, finance, risk management, and HR functions bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in the financial services, infrastructure, transportation, and energy sectors serving in multiple corporate finance roles throughout his career.
From 2011 to 2022, Preston led corporate finance, accounting, and risk management functions for private equity, family owned, and publicly traded companies. Preston served as the CFO for a regional developer and construction company and previously held multiple leadership positions at Trinity Industries (NYSE: TRN). Over his career, he has managed $1.3 billion in equity and debt financing transactions through private placements, commercial banking, private credit, and public capital markets, $750 million in acquisitions and divestitures, and financial communication efforts to institutional investors for multiple strategic transactions including a $2 billion spin-off for a portfolio of businesses.
Prior to that, he served in various advisory roles for BLX Group, a boutique consulting and investment advisory firm, providing post-issuance bond compliance and interest rate swap advisory services.
Preston graduated with a BBA in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance from Baylor University.
Preston was raised in East Texas and enjoys spending time during the summer and holidays with family and friends while playing golf in the surrounding area. Preston, his wife, and two daughters reside in Dallas and values his time serving the community through school activities and volunteering events at his church.
