March 2021 – Invoke Tax Partners is excited to announce the promotion of John Vanderah to National Director of High Volume Real Estate. Since joining Invoke as part of the AVTI acquisition in early 2020, John has been an essential piece during the integration of the two practices, ensuring a smooth transition and delivery of services. Drawing on his more than 35 years of experience, John will lead Invoke’s national high-volume commercial real estate practice by managing and growing a team of consultants and implementing operational best practices in order to optimize service for our clients with significant property counts under management.

John joined AVTI right out of college after interning for an M.A.I. in Minneapolis during his senior year. Ten years after helping open the Los Angeles office, John moved to Chicago to become a Principal of the firm and spent the next 20+ years keeping AVTI on the leading edge of technology and best practices. His experience with a long-term, North American-wide client base has produced a unique perspective of the real estate industry both geographically and across the corporate ownership spectrum. John’s comprehensive understanding of the operational needs and financial motivations of property stakeholders makes him an invaluable resource to his clients and colleagues.
