February 2020 – Invoke Tax Partners has named James Sutton as National Director of Property Tax. With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, James will lead execution of the Real Estate, Personal Property, Energy Services and Shared Services departments at Invoke.

After beginning his career as an appraiser in the largest appraisal district in North Texas, James was brought on as a Consultant at a large, national property tax consulting firm. James quickly rose to oversee the Dallas practice and led its growth from $2.5 million to over $5.5 million in just over three years. After two years running the Dallas practice, James was promoted to Regional Director overseeing the entire state of Texas which carried over $10 million of revenue.
