Founding Partner
As a Founding Partner of Invoke Tax Partners, Jerrod Raymond drives Corporate Strategy as well as provides guidance to the Sales and Use Tax Practice, assisting in the oversight of all aspects of multi-jurisdictional transaction tax services. He is responsible for directing multi-state sales tax overpayment reviews, defending/minimizing state sales tax audits, negotiating voluntary disclosure agreements, and analyzing/researching state sales and use tax consequences of various business transactions. Jerrod has extensive experience in a variety of industries including construction, oil and gas exploration and production, petrochemical and refining, pipeline operations, oilfield services, processing, and other manufacturing operations.
Jerrod has over 20 years of experience identifying significant tax savings and refund opportunities for companies across the country by managing the sales and use tax audit process and working with state taxing authorities to reduce or negotiate assessments. Prior to Invoke, Jerrod was a Sales & Use Tax Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and a Sales Tax Consultant at Kuhler & Associates.
Jerrod holds a BA in Accounting from Tarleton State University
Jerrod is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
