March 2022 – Invoke Tax Partners is pleased to announce that Stephen Sharpe has joined the firm as Director of Business Development based in our Dallas, Texas office. With a focus on sales and use tax and business personal property tax, Stephen will use his extensive network and track record of focused leadership, B2B sales, marketing, and new business development to showcase Invoke’s vision, capabilities, and customized solutions throughout the marketplace.
“Adding someone of Stephen’s caliber and background to the team empowers Invoke with important new business development synergies as our brand takes the next step in its evolution,” said Tommy Caraffa, National Director of Sales and Marketing of Invoke Tax Partners. “Stephen’s relational, discerning, and driven approach leads to his proven history of opening doors that others can’t find, and his creative thinking and unique solutions will make everyone on the team stronger.”
“Stephen is the perfect fit for Invoke’s vision as we continue to advance our business development efforts across all service lines and geographies,” continued Matt Fossey, CEO of Invoke Tax Partners.
Stephen started out in the state and local tax industry over two decades ago with a DFW-based, full-service property tax consulting firm. Most recently he served as Vice President at a Texas-centric personal property tax-focused organization where he fostered new business opportunities across the state. Stephen possesses a heavy focus on nurturing partnerships with many of the largest corporations in the country and continues growing those relationships while constantly seeking out opportunities to develop new clients.
“What drew me most to Invoke was the refreshing aspect of being a tax firm ran by tax people, and it is truly an honor to be a part of this team,” said Stephen Sharpe, Director of Business Development. “Joining such a talented group of tax professionals was too appealing of an opportunity to decline. I am looking forward to showcasing how this team can continue to help companies across the country with their tax needs.”
Stephen holds a BAS in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. Residing in Prosper, Texas with his wife Kari and two kids, Kannon and Kallie, Stephen is an avid skier and loves bombing the back bowls in Vail every chance he gets.
